Perhaps the Motion team could create (in their copious free time) a special
FxPlug-based generator that can display a current font menu that can be
published to Final Cut Pro X. In turn in has some fields that can be linked
by parameter behaviours to other values in a Motion project - including an
instance of a developer plug-in. The generator itself doesn't need to
display anything in Motion or FCPX.
The font menu could set values in the fields, and the fields could even set
the selected font in the font menu.
Would this be useful in this case?
