You say that like it's an easy thing...

Quartz Composer, for instance, has no chroma keyer, so one must implement it using OpenGL or CoreImage.

The blur functions are very different, blend modes give subtly different appearances, FxScript did 8 bit processing, etc...

I'm not saying that it's really hard, but it's not easy. Plus - unless you've added something new, you have to build a FxPlug wrapper around your Quartz Composition, no? Unless you purchase the excellent FxFactory.

I've been working on re-implementing my FxScript plugins as Quartz Compositions and some things I just can't get to work the same.
