Lawrence…at RRCC we have found that for in lab materials,
having the students leave their car keys, cell phones, or credit cards works…for
overnight or 48 hour checkout we use our libraries circulation desk as they are
the only ones who can do a registration hold if a student doesn’t return
equipment.
If you find something good let me know!

Subject: [Rockies-Edu] Asset Tracking & Scheduling & Equipment
Checkout
Hi,
We have a film lab and a music lab that have between them thousands of pieces
of hardware.
Much of the equipment is checked out to students as necessary for their
projects. We are looking
for an application that will manage this inventory as well as keep track of the
schedule of who’s got
the equipment, when it’s due to be returned and who is on deck to check
it out. Do any of you have
these types of issues and have found an application that works well for you.
Thanks in Advance for your input,
Lawrence
