Title: Re: [Rockies-Edu] do you charge for printing?
Thank you to all who replied to my question about charging for printing. The information
was helpful. It seems that the systems most people are using are are Paper Cut and Pharos.

Does anyone out there charge for printing in your student labs?
If so, how do you manage the process? Do you use a credit card type
system where a student purchases some number of prints and replenishes
as necessary? What hardware is involved?
Anyone have Digital Photography labs with Epson Professional Ink Jet Printers?
Same questions as above. It gets more complicated here because the differing
paper sizes, textures and images will use more or less ink depending on their
characteristics. We are looking for ways to more fairly distribute the costs of
these programs among those who use them, as well as discourage waste.
Thanks,
Lawrence
