Hey Justin, glad you joined us :)
If you boot the machine with a USB keyboard plugged directly into the XServe, it will work unless the USB port is dead. It is possible that if you have booted with a KVM attached, it will ignore a directly attached keyboard thereafter.
So booting with keyboard attached - testing each port like that, any luck?
Also worth testing a ssh login when the machine is in this state, in case it is something greater than the USB port.
