- Thread-topic: [Rockies-Edu] 10.5 server software update prolbems
Hi, I have a 10.5 server and need to setup
as an update server, however, I created a small OS partition and larger
partitions for Users and Data share. I would like to create a pointer in the
default update download patch to point to the larger partition. I know that in
10.6 server this can be configured in server manager but understand that in
10.5 we have to “trick” OS to store updates to another location.
Anyone?
Thanks

I can't get my 10.5 server to pull in the software updates for
the 10.6 machines. Is this possible or will the 10.5 server not pull in 10.6
updates? if not I need to undo the script that I wrote for my 10.6 machine to
go back to the original place for the updates. I only wrote it on one before I
looked ;(
