Do you have” allow control of this computer when this application is running” checked?

Subject: [Rockies-Edu] ARD question
Hi All,
Thanks for the suggestions for my ARD problem. I wound up having to reboot as I was unable to get ARD back.
Here’s the interesting thing. After the reboot I was able to login with no problem via ARD. Once I’d done what I needed to do
I returned the server to the login window via fast user switching. This caused the ARD to hang and I was right back in the
same position as before. ARD showed the system at the login window and available but when selecting and trying to control
it nothing would happen. I rebooted again and all was well. Is it a bad idea to use fast user switching on an Xserve?
Thanks,
Lawrence
