Nice app!
I think this one also does batch expanding, though.
Really, your best bet might be to create an automator app that unpacks the archive (open selected finder items/open finder items) into a new directory, finds the files you need (I assume your users can identify what files they need by extension or other identifier?), copies these to a desktop or other folder, and then moves the other files to the trash. Shouldn't be terrible and if automated, your users will be delighted!
