Hey everyone,
I posted this on the MacE list too, but I'm very interested whether there are other schools in Colorado leveraging Apple's Trade-In Program for Education. We have been using it successfully for 3 years or so now, but there are questions whether this should be done centrally by property management, rather than a dept. by dept. basis. Is anyone on this list familiar with this program, and is your school using it?
If not, are you using a similar program to recoup residual costs of out-of-warranty equipment? I'd also be interested on hearing what other schools do with their old networking hardware (switches, etc.) and other classroom technologies (projectors, touch panels, etc.) that aren't included in traditional computer recycling programs.
Here's a URL for a PDF on Apple's program for those who are unaware of it. I'd be happy to answer questions about our experience with the program too if folks are interested.

Thanks in advance for your information!
Jeff
