| We've been updating our machines to 10.8 over the past few weeks and have had numerous teachers all of a sudden experiencing sporadic slowness that is seriously affecting their ability to do their jobs. It does not happen all the time, but is very evident when it happens……spinning beach ball, typing and nothing happens for several seconds, click to open and close and it takes 5 - 10 seconds to actually see the results….you get the idea. The worst problem is it affected my 27" iMac as well!
One thing that may or may not be related is the fact that many processes are being killed at this time (see paste below for a small snippet).
Is anyone else seeing this?
Does anyone have suggestions?
