Hi Roger,

This year, we're in pilot phase with a digital LA series for our 6-12 classes. Collections from HMH is an HTML5, Common Core aligned series that has promise and is iPad friendly. http://www.hmhco.com/shop/education-curriculum/literature-and-language-arts/literature/collections

There are some issues we're working with the company to resolve including our desire for AD integration and some media resources not yet transitioned out of Flash, but overall, I think it's going well.

We're also in the exploration phase of a MS math adoption and one of the promising contenders in terms of iPad integration is Pearson's digits. http://www.pearsonschool.com/index.cfm?locator=PSZwZ5 No info on it yet as that committee is still in the process of selecting a product to be piloted next year.

Over the next several years, we're hoping to transition many of our secondary texts to iPad friendly versions provided that there's content worth exploring. As we are in the first phases of a 1:1 iPad rollout to all secondary students, it just makes sense to prioritize digital texts moving forward. We're not as interested in publishers who simply offer enhanced PDF versions of existing texts, but want to explore those that are truly leveraging the power of the tech.

Hello all,

While I was impressed with the Apple iBook textbooks when they were announced, we are unable to use them with our students due to the Apple ID/Student owns the book issue among others. We have been using Discovery Education Techbook and have been pleased

with it so far, but I am curious what resources the rest of you are using.
