Thank you. For some reason this was set to AppleScript Debugger. Is the setting for JAVA_DEBUGGER not used anymore? Again thank you for pointing this out.

Bring up the Executable editor for the executable you are trying to debug and verify that the correct debugger is chosen (the last section has a "run" or "launch' action popup, change that to debug and you should see a popup that indicates which debugger is being used (jdb or gdb). We know the UI needs definite improvement.
