Denis,
The notes I read when all this stuff came out was that there are no
problems deploying on supported systems while developing on Panther -
as long as the deployment system has Java 1.4.1 on it (otherwise it
calls framework routines that don't exist on earlier versions).

Does anybody have an opinion on the wisdom of moving my work

run into unexpected problems, (ok, some contradiction there) or does
my test indicate that the common "don't do that" advice does not apply
to me?
