I haven't tried to obtain or use a stand alone installer to put 5.2.2
on Jaguar as a test. I'm cautious about performing an unsanctioned
upgrade that could potentially disrupt a live system that is in use
seven days a week by a busy company. We can't afford any downtime
during working hours on the server and it would be a serious mistake to
break the development system with which I am rolling out new versions
every night. I have evidence that it can be done, but there are enough
notes of caution (especially Chuck's) to make me think that the wisest
course it to wait until it is time to move the server to Panther
