Howdy, all.
I just ran through the tutorial on WebApplications. Everything worked,
save that when I tried to create the 'Relationships' examples from
chapter 12, I did not get books committing to the database.
I can add a book to an author, and it will show up in that author's
list as long as I do not exit the session.
I can add an author, and the new author will show up for that session
and later.
If I look at the tables, adding and deleting authors reflects
immediately in the tables. Adding or deleting a book is never
reflected into the underlying db table.
No exceptions or error messages are thrown.
I am using mysql 3.23.53 with 5.2, and everything else seems to work
fairly well.
