I consider a web browser to be a thin client. How about doing a web
application? I think that one of the only reasons to do java app is
for situations where you need something that looks more like a real
application. You typically need something like this when the data
manipulation requires a lot of interactivity and web page refreshes
are too slow. If the user is just going to see a lot of data in
tables and change fields in forms, then do a web application.
I agree with the others. Watch the videos or do the tutorials at least.

hrm. so if i want a thin client what is a better option for me,
should i totally ditch web objects completely, or just do alot more
coding on my own. do you really think that high bandwidth users
will have a lag when using a java client app?
maybe i should deploy it as an applet instead (direct to java or
web i think it's called or something along those lines)
