I've just installed Webobjects 5.1 on a Win 2000 Pro machine. When I

com.webobjects.eoaccess.EODatabaseContext
com.webobjects.eoaccess.EODatabaseContext@75d6ab: failed to open
database channel.
This happens with any app, whether it's one that I generate from the
Wizard or it's one of the example apps. EO Modeler accesses the
databases (both OpenBase and Oracle), without problems but any app that
uses the same model gets the above error.
I don't use WO under Windows, but I believe EOModeler requires an
older Java version than WO 5.1 meaning that one must install 2
different Java versions under Windows. If you didn't install 2 Java
versions, this might explain what you're experiencing. I would think
that the WO installation instructions would describe this process.
