Do you really need Lisp, or do you need a Prolog-like rule engine?

There are Java-based rule engines out there -- more complex and Prolog-like than the rule engine in Direct to Web -- and at least one developer has made one work with WebObjects.

Check out the archives of the Apple and Omni WebObjects-Dev lists for more details.
