Thanks for this informative post. It's seldom anyone from the other side of the fence gets into any greater details on why they want to do things differently.

Then my advice would be to spend the $ 5K (or whatever it is) on the Apple courses. I know from personal experience that it's a drag to learn WO by yourself. Even though you can be productive pretty fast, it's just to much you don't know and you will constantly stumble on Strange Things(tm).
