I can see how you folks are annoyed that 1.4.1 was _automatically_ installed on your computers with the auto upgrader, and that broke WO. Really, they should have considered WO in this process, and at the very least publicized a reminder that WO is only qualified with 1.3.1, for WO users.

If it is, indeed, the case that WO is not going to work with 1.4.1 for the long term, there are documented things they can do to force them to use 1.3.1 even if 1.4 is installed. This is required for JDirect use, for example, so I expect they can make it all happen correctly.

As you pointed out, it is not the failure to work that annoys me, but the interaction with another piece of Apple software that was going to be automatically installed. If qualifying on 1.4 was not something they wanted to do at this time, I can accept that happily, but I believe that they should have been able to keep the 1,4 install from breaking WO. At the least, a warning would have been handy if they knew it could not be done.

Again, that may not have been feasible, especially if they _did_ test and thought it was going to work. I am also pleased that they have a patch coming, so my annoyance is limited.

I consider this an annoyance, not a full scale disaster. Still, not something I needed just as people at one of my clients are getting deep into WO.

Scott
