WO 5.1 Deployment on Mac OS X Server 10.2.5

Didn't get any replies from the deployment list, so I thought I'd try here ...

Deploying WO 5.1 app's on OS X Server 10.2.5 (Xserve) with all latest updates to WO and OS X Server (except Java 1.4.1!). The web browser can connect to JavaMonitor via DirectConnect (http://server:56789/cgi-bin/WebObjects/JavaMonitor.woa), but cannot connect via the web server adaptor (http://server/cgi-bin/WebObjects/JavaMonitor.woa). Error reported is "The requested application was not found on this server".

WO app's can be installed and configured via JavaMonitor. However, the web browser cannot connect to them via DirectConnect or via the web server adaptor.

This is a clean 'out of the box' installation, with updates installed - as noted above. The only difference being that WO Deployment 5.1 has been installed instead of the 5.2 which shipped with the Xserve. JavaMonitor and wotaskd have been started as root (in /System/Library/StartupItems/WebObjects/WebObjects).

Any ideas of what could be wrong? Seems like there's something wrong with the web server config, or mod_WebObjects config. Anyone know what should be checked?

Thanks for any help.

MJE
