Staring out with XCode - failed with 1 error

Hi

I've hit a small glitch in moving to XCode and I wonder if anyone else has found (and hopefully got around) this.

I erased my hard disk, installed Panther 10.3, and ran software update a couple of times to get the security updates.
I installed XCode, and WebObjects 5.2
I ran software update to get WebObjects 5.2.2. The successful download of 132 MB took just under three hours, the unsuccessful ones before that took much longer.

I copied my WebObjects 5.2.1 project onto the Panther Mac and opened it with XCode, accepting the various conversions it had to make. Some indexing took place.

Full of optimism, I clicked on Build. After some time XCode duly declared at the top of the page
0 of 0 selected - Build failed (1 error)

I'm not so surprised, but the problem is, XCode doesn't seem to tell me what that error is.

the Errors and Warnings item in the left panel is grey. Clicking the disclosure triangle discloses nothing. The error is a well-kept secret

Any suggestions of what I can do next? Is there some trick to getting XCode to actually tell me about my error?

The first target is selected and shows a green tick (a checkmark in the USA?), so I assume it knows that's what I wanted built

Denis
