Hi Chuck,
Thanks for the new docs. I read them all.
It implies with the Jboss App Server (page 70) that provided that you
do NOT set sessions to sticky, then session replication is enabled by
default. Do you know if this works with WOSessions? Do they extend
the regular session?
The other implication seems to be that replicating sessions has an
obvious overhead. It would probably dictate that I deploy 8 Xserves in
clusters of 2 and connect them over a private LAN either via GigaE or
using IP over FW.
This sounds like a great config to me and I will be happy if it just
works!

FWIW, the new docs on this were just released:
New Documentation: Java Application Server Administration
WebObjects applications can now be hosted by any servlet or J2EE
container, including the JBoss application server available on
Mac OS X v10.3. This document describes how to configure and use the
JBoss application server in Mac OS X Server.

I've not read it yet, but perhaps there is something there of
interest/use.

Supposedly this is one of the advantages gained by deploying WO inside
of JBoss. But I don't know anything about it other than it being a
theoretical advantage.
You might also want to ask in the deployment mailing list to see what
they suggest.
