With OSX you should put any Frameworks you create in
/Library/Frameworks. /System is only for system related things (read
Apple created). In my experience it is generally best not to
add/change/remove anything from the /System folder. You should be able
to change where your WO project is looking for the framework by getting
the info on the framework (cmd-i or from the menu Project -> Show Info)
and selecting the new path.

Subject: Standard framework location on OSX 10.2.8?
[demime could not interpret encoding binary - treating as plain text]
I am transitioning from developing on Windows to developing on OSX
(10.2.8; WO 5.2.1;
NOT Panther).
I am importing all of my app and framework projects into PBX, using the
"import" command
in PBX.
For frameworks I import, when I install them with the command line
'pbxbuild install...'
command, they get installed to "/Library/Frameworks/". However,
projects
that USE these
frameworks, after they are imported into PBX, they are looking for
Frameworks in "/
System/Library/Frameworks/".
Note the difference. Which location is the preferred standard location
for my own WO
frameworks? Presumably, I'll need to modify either the install
directory, or the framework
search path (or equivelent in PBX), on each of my projects, so that they
match. Which
should I change, and how do I properly change it?
Thanks for any help,
--Jonathan
