I'm pretty new to WO. I keep getting an error when I try to compile the Sample (for the book).
Was working before I update to Panther.

This is one possibility. There are others, but this is the one that caused a similar error message for me

Before you updated to Panther had you installed java 1.4.1 on Jaguar? If so, you would also have made some special settings in your project to tell it to keep using Java 1.3.1.

Now that you are on Panther you need to take these settings out of your project so that it can find the java 1.4.1 classes.
