Denis,

It looks like it is related to WO only.
I read some WO Dev archives and found a thread about some similar problems.

Apple even published a Tech nots (TN 2099).
However, when I perform the action to identify incomplete Java installation, (java -version in Terminal)
I get :

java version "1.4.1_01"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_01-99)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1_01-27, mixed mode)

Per Apple, if the install was done correctly, this what you should have.

I think there is another problem. If someone could help, I would appreciate.

Denis,

Yes, I had Java 1.4.1 installed on Jaguar before.

How can I take the settings out of my project?

In XCcode, find Targets in the Groups & Files list and click on it
Double click on the target with your application name. This should open a new window for controlling the target settings.

Under Settings / Simple View / Java Compiler Settings make sure the Java Compiler is set to javac. You probably have something to do with 1.4.1 in there

Under Settings / Expert View there is a long list of build settings. Find the ones for JAVA_DEBUGGER and JAVA_VM. They probably have paths pointing to 1.4.1
Change to the standard values
JAVA_DEBUGGER = jdb
JAVA_VM = java
