But one way or another, how does WOF fits in the picture?



Well, that is the essence of the question that I posed originally. Is WO capable of doing this type of thing, or is a Servlet a better mechanism? From the sounds of it, it appears that maybe WO isn't the best choice for this bit of functionality. Looks like I'll need to do additional research to determine true feasibility.
