Hi Sergio

There's been some chat lately about Windows trials of WebObjects.

I'm wondering what requirements there are to run JavaMonitor for WO 5.2 using a browser running on Windows 2000 or XP?

You need a browser.

JavaMonitor should be running on the server, you can either have it always on or start it by hand via ssh.

If it is running on the server "apollon" using the option "-WOPort 56789", connect to it using

 http://apollon:56789

In the JavaMonitor preferences, set up a new password so that no one else can access it.

You can add JavaMonitor to the list of applications, so that you can access it through the webserver instead of the port number. That is a good way to have it run at startup. The URL in that case is:

 http://apollon/cgi-bin/WebObjects/JavaMonitor
