Actually, I believe he _did_ say that the machine had more than one
network interface.
In which case you probably ought to use -WOHost, yes. wotaskd is
only happy being attached to one network interface. And you should
set the -WOHost to that one. (Make sure and use a DNS name that
results from reverse-lookup of the numeric IP). If you want a
wotaskd running on both network interfaces, then I believe you should
actually run two of them, with different WOHost arguments. (You would
need to configure them not to over-write each others config files
too, if applicable).
I haven't done this myself, exactly; I don't have a machine with more
than one network interface. But I understand the basic theory. I
don't understand what Jonathan's issue is exactly, or how this
applies, but that is the theory of the WOHost argument. If your
machine has more than one network interface, you probably ought to
use it.

I've been reading the WOMonitor's help and saw this but I don't understand

This is the only part I have any idea about, not being a Windows person.
However, it'd help if you mentioned more about your configuation (not
privately to me, though).
WOHost
Allows applications to specify which network interface they should bind to
when running. This option should only be used on hosts with multiple network
interfaces (IP addresses). Set automatically for instances started by
wotaskd. Thus, this property should be set only for wotaskd and Monitor.
Some computers have multiple ethernet interfaces (such as having both an
airport and a wired ethernet connection). This set up would be used, for
example, when deploying on a web server with two interfaces (public and
private).
Since you haven't said if this is a situation for you, you can probably
ignore it.
