Posting vars programatically from component to Direct Action

  • Subject: Posting vars programatically from component to Direct Action

Making good progress with my 1st real WO project. With help from this board
I've got a static HTML page posting form elements to a WO Direct Action.

Now I need to post variables from a WO component to a direct action
programatically, rather than from bound WO form elements.

I assume I should be using the response.appendContentString method of
WOResponse to create key/value pairs, but I'm unsure how to do it.

Could someone give me an example?
