This looks like a TCPwrappers error message. What platform are you
running
on?
Mac OS X.
In many unixen, look in /etc/hosts.deny
There's no 'hosts.deny'. I already created a 'hosts.allow' myself, with
"ALL: 0.0.0.0 : ALLOW" in it: to no effect.

:-) Me too, I don't know.
There's no manpage and nothing. At least, I couldn't find one. Not even
with apropos.
Looking into the preferences, I see, I have no firewall running.
TCPwrappers is a firewall of a sort.
But where could I turn it off or allow everything?
Thanks
Phil
