Thanks Art that was exactly it :)
Now how do you set it up so that the option-double click finds the
Standard java classes to. e.g. if I do an option double click at the
moment on String I get all the cocoa and WO string stuff but not plain
old Java String.

I can't recall for certain but I think the JavaDoc may have been an
optional download. Under the ADC Java downloads:
Java 1.4.2 Developer Package
Developer Package to accompany Java 1.4.2 for Mac OS X Panther.
Contains new headers, docs, demos, and tools.
