Well it may come to that, but since I have never made my own adaptor
AND since I don't know MS-SQL I kinda fear it would cost me an amount
of time which I cannot quite afford (considered the price tag of the
complete project for which I need the stuff).

That looks promising: anybody here happens to have sources of an EOF
adaptor for MS-SQL? I'd be quite grateful for them...
