You know what often gets me on Windows is that the Java installer makes
the JRE the default vm. You have to specifically point the app server
to the SDK's VM. This caught me on a recent Tomcat install on Windows.

But I did in fact install the Multi Language version. Would it be a
problem that I used the latest 1.4.2_06 install ?
1.4.2_05 is the version included with Mac OS X 10.3.7.
It doesn't seem like a minor version update to 1.4.2_06 would cause
such problems, but I don't know. But then WO 5.2.3 isn't qualified
with Windows XP or Java 1.4.2_06, so anything is possible, I suppose.
Hopefully others running Windows XP and Java 1.4.2_06 will comment.

Art
