Hi Kieran,

You might want to take a look at Jasper Reports (http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/), an OpenSource reporting product written in Java.

There are a number of associated OpenSource project utilizing Jasper Reports as the backed, and providing GUIs for report designs and web interface (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ireport, http://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperdesign, http://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperedit, http://sourceforge.net/projects/oreports).

Also worth looking at is DataVision (http://datavision.sourceforge.net/),

No particular experience using Jasper with WO, just something I'm looking at for various projects.

The sales pitch on ReportMill indicates it to be a very slick extension to WebObjects.

However, the price tag is outside my current "startup" budget. So, if there any open source products out there that offer similar/same functionality? .... or is this stuff easy to do in WebObjects anyway using WO Builder?

Advice is appreciated.

Kieran
