I apologize for the OT post to the list.
Don't.
Lately, I have been pondering the wisdom of Apple open sourcing
WebObjects.
Oh, my... welcome to the club of "The Question Without an Answer". Or
more accurately: "The Question which Doesn't Matter Anymore".
Off the list I've been debating the topic with friends, and I wanted
to cast a wider net, and see what the community feels about the idea.
Community?

In any case, this has been debated to death every now and then:

"[OT] An "Open" Letter"

And so on and so forth...
But two years later, the question should rather be: who cares one way
or another?
WebObjects has become totally irrelevant. There are very good open
source alternatives to it [1] [2] [3].
Why would anyone want to waste time with WebObjects in this time and
age?
Cheers,
PA.
