J2EE container deployment is a strong candidate for this chapter. It
is just of question of whether we can learn enough to write something
of value in the time we have.
arturo seems to have some experience. Why not accept a submission for
the book?
There is a pretty good section on EO locking which is (odd bugs aside)
all that is needed for eo multi-threading. What sort of connection
pools are you thinking of?
I have dim and distant memories of setting up multiple EOF stacks to do
connection pooling and I recall it being a tricky so and so to get
working. Which it didn't... so I seek enlightenment :-) Caveat - it was
WO45, ObjC deployed on Solaris :-) I guess life is easier in WO5x...
Anyway, good luck on the book - the TOC looks enticing!
