people are so down on WebObjects?
They're down on it because clients aren't falling all over themselves
to find WebObjects developers, while that sometimes seems to be the
case for J2EE and .NET.
What's more, there are some clients who will specify what technology a
consulting firm needs to use to do a job. Or who have to approve a
particular technology for a job, and for whatever reason withhold this
approval for WebObjects.
I can understand how this is painful, believe me.
However, there are also clients out there who want to find developers
who can build good, solid, maintainable web applications quickly and
reliably and who don't care how you do it. For those kinds of clients,
WebObjects is a good "secret weapon."
