5.1 will not install fine on Panther. Only 5.2.2 (not even 5.2.1)
will work properly on Panther.
Deploying a 5.2(.1/.2) app on a 5.1 deployment environment... I'm
not sure, sorry. But I'd have my doubts. At the very least, the
'streaming' file upload/response delivery features that were added in
5.2 will not work in a 5.1 deployment environment, as they did
require changes to the adaptor. But on top of the adaptor, part of
the "deployment environment" is the WO/EOF frameworks as a whole, and
there were API changes from 5.1 to 5.2. So I'm not sure, but I
wouldn't be optimistic in general.
