Howdy All,
<whinge>
Is RuleEditor the clumiest piece of developer software around or am I
doing something wrong?
It repeatedly tells me that the file I am editing has changed on disk
since it was last opened, when no app is running that would come
anywhere near the file. I suspect it is just that I saved the file and
it didn't notice :-(
If one deletes rules the Master-Slave display gets out of synch,
partially it seems, the lefthand side gets updated to the newly selected
rule but the righthand side doesn't until you click on another rule and
back to the rule.
There seems to be no way to sort the list of rules, the columns don't
remember their sizes, and the Filter dialog is confusing, clunky and not
expandable.
I would file a bug report or two or three but this is so obviously poor
Apple must know about it.
I guess it's just the lowest of low priorities.
Or am I missing something?
</whinge>
Now I feel a little better.
Cheers,
Ashley.
