Hi

put a meta refresh header in every response with a refresh time of 20 minutes, set the location in the refresh to a direct action
that returns your alert page allowing the user to extend the session (should take them back to the page they were looking at to be polite). Merely responding to this alert, within 10 minutes should extend the session. Perhaps some client side javascript
could give the user a ticking down timer to indicate how much time they have left to respond.


If the user closes the browser window the session will just terminate after 30 minutes.
