Bill,

It sounds like EOModeler is not able to find the jdbc driver (which it requires to know how to talk to SQLServer). Do you know if you have available this (jdbc) driver? It may have come on discs with the server package, or you may need to download it.

This driver also needs to be somewhere where EOModeler can find it (ie in a directory that is listed in your CLASSPATH).

On Mac OS X, the normal place to put these things is in /Library/Java, so there should be somewhere equivalent on the Windows machine.

Have a look to see if these things exist / are in their right places. If so, I've run out of ideas :(

My attempted connection string (in EOModeler) is "

I must be making a bunch of elementary mistakes right out the gate. The
idea that it would "simply work" is a bit far fetched. Can anyone lend a
hand on the in's/out's of connecting/modeling?

I appreciate any help :)

Thanks,
