If you are storing the image in a database, you can create a direct
action to download it, and use the link to that direct action as image
reference.
But, many spam filters seem to throw away the email when it is in HTML
and contains image hrefs that has parameters in them (like picture ID.
Could as well be "this email address is working"-ID).
