Hi,

Yes, I must have been wrong. I can't reproduce the problem. I must have done something wrong. Somehow my CVS folders in some WO documents and EOModel documents have disappeared. These same documents are in the repository and I'm the only one who is coding for this project so no one else checked them in. I cannot account for how the CVS folders vanished in a few of these documents that are in the repository. Indeed I tested both WOBuilder and EOModeler and both seem to preserve the CVS folder as others have suggested. Maybe I did something silly like creating a new EOModel and copying the entries within the EOModeler application from one document to the other. I have done that in the past. Since EOModeler doesn't show the contents of the file, I may have forgotten to check the bundle. I don't know, but I am happy that both applications preserve the contents of the document bundles. I can deal with fixing the affected documents and move forward from there.

thanks,
-tom

FWIW, I don't see this problem with either WOBuilder or EOModeler and I mix and match XCCode and CVS, CVL gui app and Terminal access to CVS.

My *.eomodeld~ backup bundles as well as the non-back up copies have the CVS file in them as do *.wo bundles.

I'm using WO 5.2.3, OSX 10.3.4 and the latest Xcode. Also, I haven't had any of the probems mentioned with all previous version of these tools.

Regards,
Tom

I see the issue in both WOBuilder and EOModeler and I get the feeling
that maybe it is certain kinds of file saves that cause the applications
to rewrite a document's bundle and thus lose the CVS folder. I'm going
to try Art's suggestion and test what scenarios cause this to happen.
Today, I'm living in Linux world, so I'll test this as soon as I get

I do not have this problem with WOBuilder - but I most certainly have this problem with EOModeler and Subversion. The problem is EOModeler 'saves' changes to an EOModel 'file' by creating a new folder with the same name and copying all the files that it is interested in to the new folder. Unfortunately, it doesn't bother to copy the .svn or .cvs stuff.
