Please report the issues to Apple at http://bugreport.apple.com?
and so I reinstalled WO5.2Developer.
WO 5.2.0 probably can't solve the alleged incompatibility issues you
discovered between WebObjects and JDK 1.4.2 Update 1?
Somehow, 5.2.3 did not get installed via Software Update. I do not
know why that is.
If you had previously 5.2.2 and 5.2.3, please remove the package
receipts from /Library/Receipts, install 5.2.2 and then 5.2.3 via
Software Update.
First I thought it solved the problems, but then again data with
customized client and server business logic did not work properly.
Now I am contemplating of installing 5.2.3 manually, or is it on
purpose that 5.2.3 is not offered via Software Update?
I'd really like Apple to have some official status on the different
components that WebObjects has, and the stability of these solutions
under different JVM's (1.3.1, 1.4.1, 1.4.2, 1.4.2DPX) and OS's
(10.2.8, 10.3.4). It seems that especially D2JC and D2W have problems.
Anybody else would like to comment?
