XCode problem?

  • Subject: XCode problem?

Ok guys, now can I be sure I have a problem in Xcode? Here is the code:

	public NSArray detailForItem() {
		Session session = (Session)session();

		NSMutableDictionary args = new NSMutableDictionary();
>		args.setObjectForKey(id, "personID");

return EOUtilities.objectsWithFetchSpecificationAndBindings(session().defaultEd itingContext(),
"Tdrawing",
"drawingDetail",
(NSDictionary)args);
}

XCode refuses to build this, marks the line with the greater than symbol and the error says "cannot resolve symbol : variable id". All I'm doing is building an NSDictionary, why would it try to resolve it as a variable?

Anyone have any ideas other than use Eclipse and WOLips? Or am I going to spend my weekend learning how to install and use another IDE :-(

justin
