Hi Ray,

thanks for your feedback. I have tryied to install the WO 5.2.3 also on
another computer, a powerbook with 10.3.3 with a Java142Update1DP1Dev.
I have exactly the same problems. Also I have tryied to build a simple
Non-Direct Java application using the eomodel of the Admissions example
in order to investigate if the problem affects also the non-direct to
java.
I used the master-details facility in order to introduce absolutely no
code. The problem also stay.
When one modify and saves a field in window of a just saved Student
object, one sees always the same exception, like:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: objectsForSourceGlobalID:
com.webobjects.eodistribution.client.EODistributedObjectStore
com.webobjects.eodistribution.client.EODistributedObjectStore@b2380e --
for object with global ID <EOTemporaryGlobalID: 0 0 -64 -88 0 1 2 0 -39
3 1 0 0 0 0 -5 98 120 73 95 33 -64 -47 -2> -could not find any
snapshot.
          at
com.webobjects.eodistribution.client.EODistributedObjectStore.objectsFor
SourceGlobalID(EODistributedObjectStore.java:302)

There are some different behaviour with JC in 5.2.3. I think this is a
bug in WO 5.2.3, not in jdk, because the WO API and then their
contract, remain the sames than WO 5.2.2, but some jc behaviour is very
different.

Have you tryied some your JC to see if you have such problem or some
different behaviour in saving eoObjects ?

Thanks

	Paolo Sommaruga
