Ryan -
Let me say first that I am a long-time Apple devotee, since the Apple
][ days. That said, I was very disappointed after I bought WebObjects
5.0. It was my fault for not finding out more about the product. I
thought for THAT much money it was a complete solution in a box, and it
must be good if it's from Apple. However, no database table
creation/edit/manage module was included! I was now on my own to
figure out if I should go with OpenBase, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or
whatever. Did I say I was disappointed? I was really bummed!! I
ass-umed that I was getting a slick user-friendly, intuitive,
revolutionary COMPLETE web-database development solution. Oh well.
I'm a doofass. :-(
You may be better off keeping your money, and just learn MySQL, PHP,
Perl, and Unix shell scripting. That's my 2 kopeks.
Good luck!

I have read the sales literature. I realize why Apple promotes
WebObjects. I am curious, however, why other people have chosen it.
Is it because they have a Mac and that is the server solution for Mac?
Is it because of EO Modeler? Is there some other reason?
I need to make a final decision on a web solution. I would be grateful
for any input each of you could provide as to why you selected
WebObjects.
Thanx,
