Ryan,

Judging by the list discussions of the last 12 months, it seems the most popular open source db's used with WO are MySQL and PostGreSQL.

The most popular price-tagged db's seems to be Oracle, MS SQL Server, Openbase, Frontbase and Sybase.

The list of "Apple certified/supported" db's can be found here:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=72598

There is a company that has an adaptor for FileMaker named WOOF ........ I have not used it. Based on previous discussions, it seems WooF is best used to connect to legacy data that has to stay in FileMaker. IMHO, as an avid user of FileMaker in the office, I would not use FileMaker as a backend for WebObjects. So far I like MySQL ...... runs on any platform .... try it if you are not deterred by the command line interface.... in fact it is the only db that comes pre-installed on OS X Server.

This brings up a good question... what databases are most people using
out there with WebObjects and EO? Has OpenBase cornered the WebObjects
market or is there another database that is leading?
