Hi,
give PostgreSQL a try, its much faster than some other well known
databases and we had no crash or other bug until now. It supports a lot
of features, including inheritance, custom data types, external
functions (written in c, great to delete files in filesystem if a
record in database is deleted!) and other things. We are switching all
our database to postgres because the other product was too buggy.
You should use the PostgreSQL plugin from project wonder if you want to
try it.
regards, david
I have just run across three separate ISPs that are flaunting the fact
that they have FileMaker Pro running on their systems for web usage.
This brings up a good question... what databases are most people using
out there with WebObjects and EO? Has OpenBase cornered the WebObjects
market or is there another database that is leading?
